MicroLED Panels
MicroLED is a cutting-edge display technology with its high brightness, contrast ratio, and power efficiency. This technology is similar to traditional LED displays, but its unique structure allows for even smaller pixel sizes and higher resolutions.
The principles behind MicroLED are based on the electroluminescent properties of semiconductor materials. In a MicroLED, a small semiconductor chip is used to emit light, and each chip can be independently controlled to create highly detailed images. Unlike traditional LED displays, MicroLED displays use millions of these tiny chips to create high-resolution images with exceptional color accuracy.
One of the key advantages of MicroLED technology is its high contrast ratio. Because each pixel can be individually controlled, MicroLED displays can achieve much higher contrast ratios than traditional displays, resulting in more vibrant and lifelike images.
Another advantage of MicroLED technology is its power efficiency. Because MicroLED displays do not require a backlight, they consume significantly less power than traditional displays. Additionally, MicroLED displays can achieve higher levels of brightness than traditional displays, making them ideal for use in outdoor environments where sunlight can wash out traditional displays.
MicroLED displays are available in a variety of sizes, with some common sizes including 0.13 inches and 0.22 inches. These sizes make MicroLED displays ideal for use in AR glasses.
